Various boards use different hardware. This means you can explore which drivers perform specific tasks by yourself. Alternatively, you can simply reinstall Windows, which will set up the essential drivers from the start, avoiding the hassle. Reinstalling is a simpler and more organized way. Just ensure your data is backed up.

Absolutely, that makes sense. It’s all the little details you’re thinking about. Now it’s really clear.

Connect your existing system to the new build, wait for the updated drivers, and it should work fine. Most suggest creating a fresh installation, but others follow suit due to peer influence, making it a loop. The easiest approach is simply plug in and see how it performs—though you can always opt for a complete reinstall later. Also, remember to link your local account with your Microsoft account before making changes if you wish to retain your license.

You won't lose your license with the box version. For OEM models, you need to connect your account first via the provided link. How? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...are-change Read the section "Link your Windows 10 digital license to your Microsoft account."

You're referring to the box version correctly. Your message is clear and concise. Thank you for confirming! I appreciate your trust and feedback. Regarding your question about installing missing files from an existing C drive, yes, that’s a common method—just ensure the installation process is set up properly. Let me know if you need more details!

I frequently switched systems between devices. My present setup began with an i5 3rd gen processor on the H77 chipset, now I’m running an i7 8th gen on the Z370. Additionally, I’ve upgraded to my third SSD by cloning the existing system onto a new drive—no reinstall needed. My current setup uses OEM Windows 10 and it functions perfectly.

It seems the setup should be consistent across Ethernet connections. If any drivers are needed, you may just need to install them temporarily. Let me know if you need further help!

Sometimes the setup goes smoothly even without the usual issues. My approach focuses on fewer requests and more effort.
