Installed upgraded processor and memory, yet system fails to power on with the new components.
I switched from a Ryzen 3 2200g to a Ryzen 5 3600 and the system didn’t show up at launch. I refreshed the BIOS and everything else worked except for the display. My motherboard is an Asus Prime b450m-a, and I’m using a ROG Strix RX570 GPU. The new RAM from Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB is installed. After waiting a while, it finally booted up properly. Did you refresh the bios prior to upgrading? Or was the motherboard already equipped to handle the Ryzen 3000 from the start?
I didn't initially, but I reinserted the original CPU and updated it, yet it still doesn<|pad|> to boot or show with the Ryzen 5.
