I’ve owned this prebuilt system for over four years without altering any parts, but temperatures kept rising. I decided to upgrade the CPU cooler. During removal of the original heatsink, I faced some challenges but eventually managed to install it in about an hour. When I power on the machine, all lights and fans activate, yet the monitor remains silent. I’ve tried several fixes—re-seating CPU, RAM, GPU, cleaning CMOS without removing the battery, checking connections, and even replacing the CMOS battery. I haven’t replaced the CMOS battery yet, and I’m considering swapping the CMOS battery. The GPU is different, RAM sticks vary, motherboard changes, and I have a friend visiting with spare parts. I’m still convinced the setup is faulty. Specs: ASUS Prime H310M R2.0, Intel i5 9400F, RTX 2060, 16GB RAM, 2400 TeamGroup, 240 SATA SSD, 1TB HDD, and a cooler from ThermalRight Assassin King 120. I’ve seen others report the same issue with this cooler.
