I recently switched to fibre broadband and tested my connection. On my phone, the speed was around 220Mbps, while on my PC it remained about the same at roughly 90Mbps. I use an Ethernet bridge as my router, which is a TP link PA4010, and believe it should support this speed. The cables seem properly connected. My WiFi appears to be limited to 100.0Mbps, but I’m not very familiar with these details. I’m seeking advice from someone who understands networking. Thanks!

[ Moved to Networking ] There's your problem. That's a 100 meg device. You need an equivalent that supports Gigabit, or a WiFi card for your computer. https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networki...ce,100Mbps Ethernet Port

Connected through Ethernet, the device reports a 100Mbps speed. Check your PC, cable, or router for issues.

What kind of motherboard does your machine use? Does it support a 1GB Ethernet connection? If yes, then the only compatible device in your network between the router and PC is a 100MB file. *Edit* According to @Needfuldoer, this powerline adapter reaches 100MB. You should either use a cable or connect via a physical wire if you prefer a wired setup. Otherwise, a WiFi 6 or newer PCIe card with a strong router will work fine.

It supports files up to 2.5GB, which means it’s not too large.

I'll just grab a quicker Ethernet bridge. Thanks.
