Hello, I understand that your English isn't very strong and your PC knowledge is limited too. Your system specs are: Intel i9 9900K Aorus Master Z390 XPG Spectrix D41 RAM 4x8 (32), Antec High Current Gamer HCG-850W Gold RTX 4070, OC Eagle Gigabyte 970Evo Plus M.2 (1TB), H150I Pro cooler. I previously upgraded from a GTX 1070 to the RTX 4070 because I wanted better performance, but after playing some games it still feels like I'm using the GTX 1070. For instance, with RUST the GPU draws about 130 watts at 50% usage, then drops to 30-40%, while friends with a GTX 3080 get 90% usage and consume 200-300 watts. I’m not sure what to do and would appreciate your advice. Please let me know if you have any other details to share.

What processor is your friend using? Do you match the identical configurations and display settings?

he has a Ryzen 7800 and runs at 1080p with 2K and 1080p at the same frame rate. when using low settings, he plays fine, but at high ultra settings, it struggles.

Rust demands significant processing power and memory, indicating a likely CPU bottleneck.

He’s got a 7800X3D? That should definitely boost his FPS. I had to replace my 9900K with a Ryzen 7700X after upgrading to an RTX 4080 because the 9900K was barely running at 5.2GHz across all cores. And if someone else has a 7800X3D that ruins my 7700X in games?

What game are you using? What is the resolution? Check how your FPS stacks up against a comparable configuration in benchmark tests.

@PDifolco @Hinjima might require 4 sticks at a slower pace
