Installed 3060 causes games to crash frequently.
I recently changed my GTX 1060 to a RTX 3060 and upgraded to a 32GB TridenZ 3600. However, my games (CS:GO, GTA V, etc.) keep crashing unexpectedly. I tried removing all old drivers with DDU and installed the driver for the 3060, but the issues persist. I’m looking for suggestions to resolve this. (CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700, Mainboard: MSI MPG X570 gaming edge Wi-Fi, RAM: 32GB TridenZ 3600, Graphics card: MSI RTX3060 Gaming Z Trio, PSU: Corsair CX 650M, OS: Windows 10)
Uncertain if this applies to your situation as well; I experienced similar problems after upgrading from a 1660s to a 3080 (CPU runs at 3600). For me, turning off XMP and reducing the RAM speed to 200MHz below the specified setting helped. I haven’t found another fix yet, so I stopped looking further. Perhaps lowering RAM speeds slightly could improve performance without major impact, though it might work differently for you.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tested it for a few days and it initially worked, but now the screen freezes. I can still hear the game sounds and navigate menus or move around, but I can’t see what’s happening. The only solution seems to be restarting my PC (I can’t open Task Manager or go to the Desktop). If you have any other ideas I could try, that would be really helpful. (Sorry, my English isn’t great, but I’m from Germany
