I'm having trouble installing Kali from a live USB. The initial steps work, but the network setup fails with a blank screen saying "configuring the network." I've searched online, but no solution seems to exist. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Consider using a USB Wi-Fi adapter or better, opt for Ethernet.

I possess a USB network card but haven't found a solution yet. Your computer lacks a physical Ethernet port.

I saved it from the source and used Rufus to burn it as a USB drive. It works in live mode, though the installer keeps crashing each time.

Turn off secure boot and activate legacy boot. Then go to the boot menu and select the USB where you downloaded the software. It should function properly.

You're running it in live mode to see real-time updates and interactions.

I just looked at my bios and couldn't find an option for legacy boot, but secure boot is turned off from the start. Any other suggestions? I've reinstalled the OS four to five times using a new download each time, but the same error keeps appearing.
