i owned my pc for three months and experienced low fps in certain games, so i updated the drivers. performance dropped from 100 in rocket league to around 30, and some applications wouldn’t launch. i used a tool named ddu to remove the drivers, but the issue persists. my hardware isn’t overclocked—my cpu is an amd ryzen 5 5600g, the graphics card is amd r9 270x xfx, and the motherboard is asus rog strix b450. i have a ram of 16gb 3200mhz, an nvme m.2 ssd (wd blue 250gb), and a mx500 1tb wi-fi. everything seems to be fine except for the external hdd or ssd you mentioned.
What type of graphics card are you running? You can usually find out by checking your game settings, which will indicate whether it's using a dedicated GPU or an integrated driver. Have you adjusted any display cables? Make sure your monitor is connected to the graphics card directly, not the motherboard.
