You can try installing Windows 10 or 11 on the Asus H81M-K, but the motherboard only supports Windows 7 and 8. You may need to use a virtual machine or alternative methods to run a newer OS.

It would have been unexpected if it failed, yet I didn’t have to worry—it’s confirmed by the manufacturer’s site that Windows 10 is supported!

You might attempt drivers for Windows 10, but official assistance for Windows 11 isn't available since Haswell doesn't back that version.

It seems the official compatibility list doesn't include this CPU, but you can still run Windows 11 by finding workarounds. I've successfully used it on many older systems before.
