I'm having trouble setting up Windows 7 or 10 on a 64-bit system. I've been using a 32-bit OS for the past six years, and I'm worried it might impact my processor settings. My PC specs are: Core i3 2120, DDR3, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 7000rpm, Gigabyte GA-H61-MD2 v4.0.

Yes, after a clean install you should remove all partitions except the one you used for your OS. Deleting other partitions is recommended to avoid data loss.
