If you attempt to set up Windows 10 on any disk using UEFI, it will generate all the necessary partitions automatically. I’ve done this countless times and I’m confident about it. The snapshots are ready whenever you need them.

Use UEFI boot media to install Windows on unallocated space. Also turn off TPM.

The issue seems resolved with your current approach. I'm still sure cleaning the drive completely, disconnecting the second drive, and letting Windows handle the partitioning will fix it. It appears the boot loader might already be installed on the 250, so removing the 120 and then letting Windows sort itself should place the boot files correctly. You mentioned doing it before but wanted a step-by-step follow-up—just let me know if it fails again. If it doesn't work, a faulty SSD is likely the cause, which makes sense since other functions still work normally.

Consider using a method to install the EFI Boot partition and verify the presence of boot files, as failure in these steps suggests the files might not be on the drive.

I completely understand your concern. I kept trying the advice you gave me multiple times, but I’m still facing the same issue. Perhaps it would help to have it checked by a professional seller?

They still offer a 1.5-year warranty, though I’m unsure if they’ll swap it for a different one for me. I’m currently attempting to set up Windows in CSM mode to check if that might help.

Do you have another device available for testing the SSD? I’m not sure what to do next. It seems like the drive might still be able to start up.

The article remains functional in CSM mode and started after setup. The issue with UEFI seems unrelated since another SSD continues to work.

Open Disk Management, select Disk 0, then right-click and pick Properties > Volumes. It will display either GPT or MBR depending on your setup.
