Automatic boot in 10 seconds, then it reports an error. The issue is that the required kernel isn’t loaded yet. You tried using Rufus to create a bootable USB, which helped but didn’t resolve the problem.

The picture is damaged. Please re-download and try again. When Rufus prompts, select ISO mode for writing instead of DD.

You might also try etcher, a great and straightforward USB maker that works reliably every time. LinuxUSB Creator, Unebootin, or Rufus didn’t always succeed for me, especially across different distributions, but etcher consistently did.
