Hello.
I have a Surface Pro 7, and I managed to remove the Windows Bitlock password. The next step was to install Windows, but I’m stuck—can’t boot into USB, network, or anything because of the BIOS password.
For other Surface models, there’s a CMOS battery that can be removed, but this isn’t the situation here. We had the screen separated by a repair service, and now we need to remove the BIOS password, possibly by shorting the circuit where it’s stored?
Or do you have any alternative methods to install Windows? I don’t really care about the BIOS password—I just need Windows installed on it.
EDIT: This is from a customer who received a laptop from his daughter working in a manufacturing plant.
