You need a second copy of Windows 10 for the new PC. The existing USB copy won’t work with the new build unless you purchase another license. Using the same product key on both won’t be valid.

In general, you should employ a second key since each system operates differently. If Windows 10 is willing to let it go, it might function properly. Typically, the first key you use is linked to your account, and upon logging in, it checks your credentials automatically. If that fails, it will prompt for another key repeatedly until you provide a valid one.

You’ll likely need two distinct keys. Windows 10 lets you operate without activation, showing a persistent "ACTIVATE WINDOWS" in the lower-right corner. Your desktop won’t be customized, but using it with limited features can feel interesting.

First, please note the terms outlined in the agreement—it’s against the law to employ two keys simultaneously. Second, Windows may disable the key once another device connects using the same identifier.

A new key is required to access full functionality after the 30-day period. Alternatively, you can join Microsoft’s program and obtain it for free, though it might include some instability.
