Is it safe to run both Windows 10 and Windows 11 simultaneously on different NVMe drives? You often encounter BSOD issues when switching between them. Please seek guidance.

For a dual boot configuration, the straightforward method is: 1) Set up NVME 1 with Windows 10 2) Disable NVME 1, add NVME 2 in slot 2 and install Windows 11 3) After everything is ready, reinstall NVME 1 in slot 1 and choose your boot option via the menu. If both drives are installed during Windows 10 or 11 installation, things can get tricky.

I created a duplicate of my Windows 10 installation from one SSD to another identical drive and then upgraded it to Windows 11. I was trying to ease into the new system but it seems this approach didn’t work as intended.

cloning is... uncertain at best, and improving is always worse than starting fresh.

Thanks for your feedback! It seems the system issues are now clear. For backing up and restoring your installations, consider using reliable tools like Acronis, Veeam, or Windows Backup & Restore. These help keep your data safe and easy to recover.
