You're starting Parrot Linux for the first time and your USB Wi-Fi card isn't working. To fix this, you'll need to install the appropriate drivers. Check your USB Wi-Fi card's manufacturer website or your computer's device manager for the correct driver. If unsure, search online for "USB Wi-Fi card driver" along with your card model.

Which card is this? Generally, if it’s not pre-installed and functions properly, you can usually add a package from the repositories that includes a driver. When it isn’t available, more makers are beginning to offer their own Linux drivers directly on their sites.

You're using a Realtek RTL8812AU wireless adapter and have received a drive disc, but you're unsure about installing the drivers. You can follow these steps:

1. **Check the packaging** – Look for instructions or a manual that came with the adapter.
2. **Download the latest drivers** – Visit the official Realtek website or a trusted retailer to get the most recent drivers.
3. **Install via USB** – Connect the drive disc to your computer and use the built-in installation tool provided by Realtek.
4. **Update BIOS/UEFI** – Ensure your motherboard's BIOS is up to date for optimal compatibility.
5. **Run a system update** – Use Windows Update or a utility like Windows Update Assistant.

If you need further help, let me know the operating system version you're using!

Checked out these drivers from the web: https://github.com/gnab/rtl8812au. The instructions on the site are pretty clear, so you should be fine. If not, a simpler video might suit you better.

I tried it too, but it doesn’t seem to work. I’m not sure what to do next. How can I handle this from the disk you received?

I explored the process and identified potential issues. There were no error messages received. The disk provided likely lacks compatible Linux drivers, which may explain the failure. Check the accompanying README for installation instructions.
