Hi, the new tower you received has W10 SSD installed on the Asus Prime H310M-A. I’m having trouble booting with Ubuntu 18.04 SSD, and I think the issue might be related to UEFI settings. Disabling UEFI could help—would that work? Will the W10 SSD still boot? Thanks for your assistance.

Did you disable secure boot or permit the use of non-Microsoft keys? UEFI functions properly with Ubuntu.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't take any action, just swapping the W10 SSD with my Ubuntu SSD. If I'm interpreting your message correctly, there shouldn't be any risk of triggering the legacy (CSM) boot. Best regards.

Please restart Ubuntu on that system. There are many problems that can arise when changing platforms, especially with Linux.
