You need to set up a dual-boot configuration where Ubuntu is installed on your SSD while keeping Windows 10 on the secondary drive. Place the GRUB menu on your HDD so Windows won’t overwrite it during updates, then replace it with the Windows bootloader. Follow the steps in the image you referenced to configure the installation accordingly.

The installer will utilize the available space to automatically create partitions. It is recommended to back up any important data from that drive just in case this process encounters issues.
