It's interesting you're not familiar with this since you haven't been around MacOS 10.7 or 10.8. You might want to reach out to someone who uses a Mac for support, get the installer file from them, and create a bootable USB drive. Alternatively, visit an Apple store and ask for assistance with the product.
The document outlines the terms of use for MacOS 10.9 as detailed on Apple's official website. It explains the reasoning behind downloading software through torrents despite having a paid license, emphasizing convenience and speed over official channels. The author expresses a personal stance that software usage should depend on licensing rather than acquisition method, aiming to avoid legal complications.
I was introduced to the EULA here. Didn’t take the time to read it thoroughly, assumed no one did. However, this forum along with its moderators/admins indirectly supports or promotes content that violates the terms, such as altered drivers (from a gaming on a mining card video) and modified operating systems like Windows 9. I don’t think they’d be concerned about someone sharing unmodified software installers from Apple, which they’ve stopped supporting about five years ago. Apple doesn’t provide support for any software or hardware older than three years, so Mavericks would fall under Abandonware anyway. Talking about it, I was actually searching for that Windows 9 installer but couldn’t locate it.
It will work smoothly on 64-bit Windows. The key is installing it on a different system first, then adding the drive. Have you received the installer?
