Your Windows 10 key is saved in your BIOS. As long as the motherboard stays the same, you should be fine.

Only if it's OEM, meaning it comes preinstalled.

You can verify your license. Update settings and security activation will display: Windows is running with a digital license (key) tied to your Microsoft account. I moved from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I’m not certain the message will match on a new device, but it should be similar because I often perform clean installs. If you see that line, it’s safe to proceed and do a clean install. No further actions needed afterward. Many YouTube videos cover this process. During setup, it will request the key—click immediately, don’t skip or miss it. Afterward, you’ll be prompted for a password. This code protects your computer; remember it securely. Don’t forget to back up your data, as there are many free cloud storage options available. Your laptop is vulnerable to drops or water damage.
