I attempted to visit the Asus website and saved the network drivers to a USB drive. Connected it to the PC, which had some problems. Unzipped the files and moved them over. When I tried to run the program, a Windows prompt appeared asking if you want changes made to your PC. You chose yes, but nothing occurred. Your LAN and WiFi are already connected via Mobo. I'm unsure what else to do with the drivers now.

I'll give it a shot soon and check if it works.

It might have been the outdated USB from 2016, but it shouldn't matter as long as you connect online and update drivers later.

Windows 10 64 bit. Regarding pending updates, I'm uncertain because I just used my USB installer from when I purchased my first key in 2016. Since it won't connect to the internet, I can't confirm if there are any updates available. Given its age, I might need to update Windows, but I can't because it won't detect the Wi-Fi or the connected LAN cable. I'll review the Device Manager in about an hour and see what I find.

I assumed a functional wired link existed. Did your Windows login account have admin rights or restricted access? Press right-click on the driver installer and select "Run as Administrator." Certain drivers may pull out self-contained files only when double-clicked. Check if a new directory appears alongside the original installer folder—open it to spot additional executable files. If present but not clickable, use Device Manager to refresh drivers by targeting that directory.

I solved it successfully! I transferred the download tool from Microsoft’s site to a USB drive and replaced the previous version, then reinstalled it—everything functioned just fine!
