Your Acer model runs a tenth-gen Intel processor, and you're looking to breathe new life into it. The issue with the OS not recognizing the C drive might be due to a few things—checking the boot order, ensuring the drive is properly connected, or verifying the partition settings could help resolve the problem.

It should remain visible to the disk, remove every partition and set up the installation. Linux doesn’t natively interpret NTFS, as it’s a closed Microsoft format. Usually, it relies on ext4 or btrfs instead.

What operating system are you running? Windows and Linux display different drive information. Which distribution are you using?

I’m likely using Pop-OS, but when installing the OS via the Drive menu it doesn’t appear in the drive list during the installation steps.

No, there isn't one connected at the moment.

Photos are the key image file. The main drive it recognizes is just that one. I believe this could be connected to a BIOS setting on Acer, though no one else seems to have encountered the same problem. It works with USB, but during installation the operating system displays the target drive as needed. I’m using POP OS and am considering trying a custom build.
