Not yet, it should take about 23 minutes using USB 2.0 with 1.4GB of space. I think the term CD refers to USB, CD or DVD. Do you start from the ISO file regardless? In my situation, it's a 32GB USB drive.

Use RUFUS to create a bootable USB. Choose your ISO file, and it will handle the rest. Restart your PC, then boot from the USB using BIOS or navigate to Windows settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart now.

Use a tool like unetbootin or rufus to put the Linux Live CD onto your thumb drive. After installing, restart and adjust your boot settings to choose your USB device. Once running Linux, you’ll be able to proceed with the installation.
