I purchased an MSI Z890 GAMING PLUS WIFI and a 64 GB G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB. According to their site, it doesn't support XMP on Intel boards. Is it still possible to enable XMP? Your model appears on their compatible RAM list.
If it's already purchased and paid for, you could simply test it out and observe the outcome. When you try it and it functions well, keep it. If it fails or doesn't work properly, send it back. Otherwise, you might still need to return it even if you didn't try it.
