So... you confirmed that. Just logged in for a short time, no errors in HWINFO, possibly none in the event viewer too. Ran a quick CP2099 test and didn't see any issues. I need to download some testing software to check further, but I might already have it. YOU might have it. I'm planning to grab a new riser cable to try it out and see if I can stay vertically mounted today. I'll do more tests later. I think this should clear up the PCIE errors.
Thanks for the kind words, but I’m handling the effort myself. I just share ideas by posting a few sentences. It’s good to know you’re on top of things! Also, writing long explanations isn’t always useful—my PC setup is pretty efficient, and an RTX 2000 would move less data over the PCIe bus compared to the 4000 series, especially considering your current build. (Note: The memory speed on the 2080 Ti is actually higher than the 4090.)
It seems the issues persisted even after moving from 20 to 40 series. With a verified system, I didn’t review the logger or hwinfo. I’ll focus on troubleshooting further and check for other errors before the next hour. I’m still working through this. Thanks for your patience.
Regarding the devicesetupmanager, it’s possible these items were removed from Windows support. They might have changed or deprecated them, so they haven’t been updated yet. Let me know if you want more details.
