Install Cheetah on a 2016 MacBook Pro running macOS X.
Hello, I have a 2016 MacBook Pro with a touchbar. I’m looking to run Mac OS X Cheetah all the way up to Mac OS X Tiger natively. I’d prefer not to use a virtual machine, but if that’s not possible, I’m open to suggestions. Any advice would be appreciated.
The system isn't compatible with the software version. Running it in a virtual machine isn't advised. MacOS Sierra has some issues that make it problematic.
You must use the latest version of OS X available with your device. Your laptop comes pre-installed with Seirra, but only newer releases are supported. For older OS X versions, consider using affordable PowerBooks, iBooks, or first-generation MacBook Pros and MacBooks to experiment.
Pre-10.4 Tiger won't work on Intel systems. Try older versions with PearPC.
