Insight on a Linux project
For those familiar with FTL, you understand how much it can become a habit. Now it's running on Linux, and I had a thought. Could it be feasible to set up a Linux OS on a Samsung Express Prime 3 to play Steam games that use Linux? Also, is the device strong enough for FTL? And if something goes wrong, can I still restore Android?
With an emulator in mind. Its x86_64 binaries work best on ARM or ARM64 devices. If the project is open source, you might be able to build it for ARM, though that's rare.
You're not finding anything useful without using an emulator, which is likely to perform poorly or lack available source code.
Unless it's open source, it won't function properly. The emulator could run, but converting x86 to ARM in real-time will be extremely slow, especially on a slow phone.
