Occasionally I need to ensure my monitor has extra safeguards. Honestly, this should be easy.

It seems you're experiencing a hardware issue with your monitor. Is it a DVI port? That doesn't sound like something recent.

I turned off the monitor and even tried using my HDMI monitor, but the issue persisted.

Did you anticipate a better experience from the beta OS?

It was expected to have issues, but it's been like months since I've encountered something like this. Kind of amusing except for the resolution limitation.

The system reported a connection timeout in the monitor details. Have you attempted to remove and reinstall your GPU drivers?

It seems like you're referring to a specific version of Windows. Could you clarify what you mean by "Windows Insider build"? I'd be happy to help further.

Since the start, I've noticed it doesn't really affect me, right? Just enjoying discovering issues. But the insider build seems quite unreliable.
