Hey everyone, when I connect any USB drive to my PC it functions properly, but opening a folder triggers other USB devices to disconnect or fail to reconnect. I see the error code 31 in Device Manager. I’ve tried reinstalling USB drivers and even the Intel IME/Chipset drivers, but nothing works. Thanks for any advice!

It doesn't work and every attempt I make fails; only removable media functions.

Right, it's now started working with other drives and only my main one seems to do it. They are USB 2 while mine is USB 3, reckon those drivers could be causing it?

It only works with USB 3 ports, which makes sense since manually installing drivers is required.

Need assistance? I just reinstalled Windows today, but it’s not working on my Hackintosh—maybe the Mobo version isn’t available anymore.

Attempting to download the drivers. That’s roughly the only thing on my mind.

It looks like you're pointing out a concern about driver support. Specifically, it seems Intel hasn't prioritized their drivers for Windows 10.

Everything is functioning properly now. It turned out to be an audio interface ready for binning: 'D'
