I recently learned about the Windows 10 LTS version. It seems to be a stripped-down edition with fewer updates, yet it still receives security patches regularly. Regarding the claim that "nobody pays for Windows," activation typically requires purchasing a license, but there are free versions available through community sources or trial programs.
