Hey, I'm curious about the Acer Nitro 5. The screen already has a few broken pixels, and I'm wondering if they'll spread or stay the same. Also, I have a concern about hitting the screen with my nails and fingers. Could this damage the laptop's display? I'm trying to be careful but it's hard not to. Would doing this harm the screen? Please let me know if I should be worried.

They might move along the same path or appear completely random. The issue is that if the panel is defective, you'll face dead pixels sooner. I recommend steering clear of touching that panel in either direction. When you need to display something, opt for a laser pointer instead.

Hey I'll avoid doing that, I want to ask how can I know if my laptop's fine or needs repair? Something like panel, or screen change? It looks fine as of now, but I am not sure.

If you're trying to spot dead pixels on your display, this method can help. Recognizing a faulty panel involves observing unusual behavior that differs from typical performance, like flickering, spots on the screen, or complete lack of display even when the laptop is turned on and running in the OS GUI.
