Hello everyone,
I'm dealing with an unusual problem on my newly assembled PC and am seeking help from the community. Although I've managed to get fast download speeds on platforms like Steam and speed test tools, I'm encountering very slow downloads (around 300kb/s) when accessing certain other websites or sources. For instance, Steam gives me about 20 MB/s, but the download from NordVPN installer in Firefox and the setup wizard are also sluggish, as is the download for Stellseries Engine. I have no idea what might be causing this inconsistency. I've tried different browsers, but Edge consistently shows the same slow speeds.

Spoiler:
- Connection speed (Download/Upload): 1000/1000 Mbps
- Primary DNS Suffix: fritz.box
- Manufacturer: Realtek
- Description: Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller
- Driver Version: 1125.13.424.2023

Any suggestions or technical tips would be really helpful. Thanks in advance for your advice and any similar experiences you might have.

Speed is influenced by more than just your device and connection provider—it also depends on the server you're getting the content from.
Only a small number of servers possess the capacity to deliver high speeds across the entire network.

During the follow-up checks, I found the issue stemmed from my WiFi being turned on. Although it wasn’t linked to any network, it appears that enabling WiFi was affecting my Ethernet connection. I’m glad this information could assist others facing a comparable problem. Appreciate the advice!
