Hello! I recently changed my SSDs and decided to reinstall Windows 11. To make the process easier, I turned off CSM, and after doing so, my monitor (Samsunv S24D332H) shows nothing but a black screen. I can't reach BIOS or the Windows installation menu. The monitor recognizes the HDMI input, but it still displays a black screen. When I switch to another monitor using the same cable, everything works perfectly. However, with this particular one it doesn't.

I'm having trouble because I've only disabled CSM and searched extensively online without success. I even asked ChatGPT, which suggested a handshake issue or a monitor fault, but found no confirmation.

Could anyone help me? I've tried nothing else except changing the settings and using another monitor. I'd really like to use my monitor while keeping CSM off. Is there anything missing or any alternative I should try?

Thank you all in advance.

Your CPU isn't compatible with Windows 11.
BIOS reset instructions are available via the onboard CLEAR_CMOS jumper.
Refer to the motherboard user manual, page 27.
Download the ASRock Steel Legend manual here.

I'm having trouble accessing my BIOS and don't think it's related to Windows. Also, clearing the CMOS might turn off CSM. I can use another monitor normally, but I want to discover how to use my main monitor without CSM enabled.

If everything works with another monitor, then the original one must be faulty.

But the original screen functions perfectly every time unless I turn off the CSM feature on my machine. Does that mean it’s actually faulty?
