the compatibility problems mean some Z390 boards need a bios update to work with 32GB modules. Updating your bios should fix it, and you might not need to change anything else. For the kit, a 3200mhz option like this one works well: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RjK2FT/...0hc16cdc01

32GB memory packed in a 32GB configuration (8GB per channel) using DDR4 at 3200MHz, Team T-Force Delta RGB. It was built for me as a first computer, but the label shows 16 channels instead of the expected 8x2, so I think it actually uses four channels total.
