XMP is a method to boost memory performance automatically. Using a standard setting would turn off XMP, which usually ensures better results. Having more devices increases the likelihood XMP reaches its advertised speed. Still, it remains an overclock.

adjustments rely on how alike the ICs are. Some differences appear, like micron 8GbE rev and Samsung 8GbD die—test it out and see. If it doesn’t work, consider swapping all four sticks and purchasing a couple of 2x16 3200C16 or 3600C18 kits. For the demo, here’s what four sticks look like with matching RAM and no board limits: the chips are mostly identical, CPU reads match the advertised speed (3200 is MT/s, not actual MHz), and all Hynix 2GB sticks use the same IC as the OEM Blue sticks (HMT325U6C). The confusion about four different DIMM setups is really misleading, so just a heads up.

That is a way that I think I can try, since from what i understood theres no visible impact on performance reducing 200mhz True! there is also that path i can follow! I'm starting to sense that this is a common practice... So to sum everything I gathered: I will test if 4 sticks work well on the machine, if it does nice, if not either I tweak around the timings and speed or I simply sell these and buy two new kits
