Reviewing the router details, I'm trying to grasp its capabilities. The N600 and AC2600 specs are important. For 802.11ac and MU-MIMO, it doesn't really matter which band you're on since both support those features. Since you'll mostly use one device at a time—primarily a gaming PC—I think two wireless devices is fine. Regarding MU-MIMO, it enables multiple data streams at once, so having four antennas isn't excessive; it can actually send several streams to the same device simultaneously. As for the eight data streams mentioned, it refers to eight simultaneous send/receive channels under 802.11ac standards.

Wireless AC operates on a 5GHz frequency. The N600 covers the 2.4GHz spectrum.
