I own a ROG Strix G712LW (https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Display-i7-1...B0865QQBFL) and need an additional charger that’s affordable enough to bring to work. Do you have any suggestions? I’m not very experienced with this, so I’m hoping someone can help. I also found some options on Amazon and would like to know if any of the listed chargers are suitable. Please let me know if using those is a bad idea. I apologize in advance if this post needs to be removed.

Most people agree that using third-party hardware is cheaper than buying the official version, but it comes with the risk of failure or damaging your device. It’s a personal decision.
If you’re comfortable with the possibility of the third-party charger not working or even harming your laptop, go ahead.
However, if your laptop is valuable enough to justify the potential $50 price gap between the two types of chargers, it’s better to avoid third-party options and opt for the official one.
