Inquire about switching audio from headphones to speakers
I had been using Asus Strix 7.1 Wireless headset for 5 years and yesterday right side stopped working. Now it may sound silly but here's the thing. What I did differently from all the
years of using it is that I didn't turn headset off when switching output device to speakers, so it stayed paired with its usb dongle. Normally I would always turn headphones off and then use speakers.
I know this is probably a pure coincidence that it stopped working (it's 5 yrs old) but there is no harm in asking, can it matter anyhow if I'm turning headphones off before using speakers or
should I just not care about it?
New headset that I got is Hyperx Cloud 2, also wireless.
