Certainly. In certain situations you might prefer a weaker signal zone, but not where the devices are required. This allows clearer transitions between options instead of maintaining two equal signals, which can confuse the client about which connection to keep. Unless a steering feature is active on a Unifi controller, it seems they tend to stick with the signal they currently have, rather than adapting to a stronger one.
