Hello everyone, I’m looking for some assistance with a strange issue I encountered after upgrading my PC. While playing FPS games like Tarkov or Battlefield, I often see random input lag when watching YouTube videos or Twitch streams. The keyboard responses keep getting delayed, and the video on another monitor freezes or stutters. This causes my last key presses to be applied continuously, while other inputs are slowed by several seconds. Once the lag clears, the remaining actions in the game appear normal, though FPS remains stable. I’ve noticed this only with these specific games—not in FIFA or League of Legends—and it doesn’t happen when I’m not watching videos or when windows are minimized. My system specs include Windows 11, Intel Core i7-13700k, 32GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 3070, and a Samsung 990 Pro with 1TB storage. I’m using a Corsair K95 RGB Platinum and running Chrome on a 1080p monitor. I’ve tried checking keyboard polling rates, enabling hardware acceleration in Chrome, updating drivers, and ensuring CPU/GPU temps are normal. No help needed, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed this problem leading to significant delays in our operations, which are far less severe than yours. Our approach was to turn off hardware acceleration. Let's test it out.

This seems related to MultiPlane Overlay problems. Have you come across the adjustment of disabling the MultiPlane Overlay MPO? You can open Regedit as admin, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm, set DWORD OverlayTestMode to 00000005 and restart the system. Try again.

I'm experiencing the same issue too. Have you tried any solutions yet?

I’m experiencing the same problem in various games and hardware setups. The keyboard shows input lag, causing the video or stream on the second monitor to pause. It often takes a few seconds before the freeze clears, after which keystrokes appear in normal order. Performance metrics remain stable, with no signs of near-complete usage. This issue occurs with Samsung SSD 980 PRO and 870 EVO drives, as well as with a Corsair K95 keyboard. The problem seems to start only after a short period post-boot, sometimes triggered by alt-tabbing in fullscreen or windowed mode. I’ve updated the BIOS and reinstalled drivers, but it hasn’t resolved the issue during my first six weeks. A fresh Windows installation is still pending. Any suggestions would be appreciated?
