Hey everyone, it seems both XMP 1 and XMP 2 are causing my PC to freeze in a boot loop. Some users managed to fix it by manually setting memory details in the BIOS DRAM settings, but that process feels confusing with all the options. My RAM is 3200MHz, C16 15-15-15-36, and I’m trying to figure out how it works on my Asus Z490-P motherboard. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Run DDR4 at full ratings because XMP causes boot loops. Other communities suggest the motherboard might handle bclk settings, which is why it's unreliable in XMP mode. This setup includes a 10700k with 2x16GB, Corsair Vengeance C16 at 3200MHz, GTX 1080 Ti, and TI BitFenix 650 formula gold.

The board offers nine distinct BIOS options. It's unclear if the GUI remains consistent across them. A manual is available, but it mainly covers the EZ and advanced modes. The only BIOS documentation I found is for an older Strix model. It's possible the setup is similar, but not identical.
