I was assembling a computer without handling the motherboard or any other electronics, but I accidentally touched the case and experienced an electric shock. Was there something inside the PC that malfunctioned?

You're right about electricity—sometimes unexpected shocks can surprise us, and it's usually just our bodies reacting.

It seems like you're recalling a moment when you interacted with the case and something occurred.

Yes, it was a metal case. Based on my experience, everything should be sealed.

It's okay. The mounting brackets shield the motherboard.

The only certainty comes from turning it on and checking functionality. We’re not just guessing—there are many factors involved.

You're assembling a PC, right? Did you forget to power it up when you got excited?
