Initiate Multiboot Process
Initiate Multiboot Process
Hi everyone, I'm an IT student excited about technology. I assemble a powerful PC using a multiboot setup (Windows 10, OSX Sierra, Kali, Fedora) and use all of them. I'm looking for ways to enable four or more startup buttons that launch automatically on this system. My dad once created something similar about ten years ago with IDE hard drives by adjusting master/slave jumpers to pick the correct boot disk, but those jumpers are no longer available. I need your help with some creative solutions. Cheers, Spidy
Best to handle everything inside the VM—it’s much simpler to manage. You can employ a bootloader such as GRUB to choose between options in software, that’s the plan.
I tried test virtual machines but didn’t get the expected performance. Perhaps I should have used better options like VMware or VirtualBox. I had Grub installed, which functions, but I’m curious if implementing a multi-start button feature is feasible or not.
