Initialize system on the mainboard Startup process of the server motherboard
I'm having trouble getting started with my budget build setup. I have an Xeon X5650 with six cores and a Super Micro dual socket board, but when trying to boot Windows it freezes with a blinking cursor. I think it might just be a simple mistake, but it's still annoying. Any advice?
Open the boot menu. Is the installed drive visible as an HDD or SSD? Which error occurred, and what adjustment might have caused it? Did you attempt to reset the CMOS after modifying a setting?
I created the bootable USB by following the provided instructions. It recognizes the USB drive during the boot process.
Create a bootable USB drive and then follow the installation instructions. This method works even if you can't transfer an HDD between computers.
OK I'll give it a go lol I thought I'd try the lazy way cause I don't have usbs haha but nope hahah oh well
I also have an HDD running Windows 7, and it loads the logo before restarting.
