Hey everyone, just installed a new setup with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and planned to use an AIO liquid cooler (Corsair H115i Elite Capellix). I was worried about water but ended up trying to mount the pump. Most of the standoffs were spinning in their holes, so I went ahead and installed the pump. Only one screw was fully tightened, which suggests the CPU might not be making good contact with the heatsink. Temperatures are around 60-70°C when idle and spike to 80-90°C during games. I’m wondering if the backplate needs replacing or if these standoffs aren’t working properly.
