Assemble a fresh system from scratch. MSI Meg X570 unified, 5900x, G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) with 288-pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 4000 and RTX 3070. All booting smoothly after factory setup. Checked BIOS today and found default memory speed at 2133MHz. Activated an XMP profile to boost it to 4000MHz, restarted, and now see error "AP Initialization after microcode loading" 0_0. Anyone know why this is happening?
Discovered a discussion about a recurring problem with MSI motherboards. After updating the BIOS with the latest stable version, not the beta, some users claimed the beta update fixed the issue. I’m planning to try it and find out the outcome.
Updated to the newest (beta) bios fixed the problem. I turned on the xmp profile, and RAM is now operating at 4000MHz...nicccce.
