The title clearly explains the issue. On startup, the screen stays black while peripherals and components function normally but no display appears. Turning off and turning it back on shows everything works as expected.

Check if the machine is truly powered down or merely in standby. Have you attempted to detach and reattach the screen instead of restarting to achieve the same outcome?

The PC isn't in sleep mode. I've also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the monitor, but that doesn't solve the issue. The real problem starts when I turn it on for the first time—my actual display doesn't light up at all (the red LED stays red). Once I power it back on after a restart, it works perfectly. This makes me unsure what exactly is going wrong.

The BIOS does not list the discrete card as the default display output by default. This behavior occurs during shutdown rather than on reboot. Disabling Windows fast startup may resolve the issue if it's causing the problem.

The GPU is configured to act as the primary display output only after power-off.

I’d link the monitor to a different laptop or PC to check its performance. Alternatively, connect your own PC to the TV instead of the monitor to see if the results are consistent.

It seems my monitor is functioning properly until the recent CPU and GPU upgrade about three days ago. Did switching from AMD to NVIDIA help? Also, did you use DDU to remove the old AMD drivers and install the new NVIDIA ones manually?
