Initial Planning for Water Cooling Loop
Initial Planning for Water Cooling Loop
I'm updating my current setup with the parts from the vF3ykT list and need guidance on planning the cooling system. Should I invest in an additional reservoir, pump, and radiator for a second loop, or should I combine two graphics cards and the processor into one unit? I want to go all-in on tubing but am unsure how to distribute the cooling effectively. I'm using a 760T and have room to work, though I'm completely new to watercooling.
Initially, a 6700k won't fit on your existing motherboard. Most orders will provide similar cooling results if you choose a single loop with everything included; the only real difference is whether the reservoir stays above the pump. The 1070s are great for performance, so one loop should work, but I recommend adding a second pump and reservoir for better block coverage and overall cooling.
