Hi,
I've been working on assembling my first PC for some time now. After much research and reviewing parts, I feel I have a solid plan in place. This setup is intended for gaming, with a Pascal GPU once those models arrive. The configuration looks like this:
i5 6600K
Cryogenic H5 ultimate
MSI Z170-A PRO
KFA2/GALAX GeForce GTX 950 EX OC W 2GB
Kingston Hyperx Fury DRI 4GB DDR4-2166 (2x4GB)
Coolermaster GM G650W PSU
Corsair Carbide 200R
I already have the hard drives ready.
Since this is my first build, I just wanted to ask for advice and would appreciate any tips, suggestions, or modifications before buying everything. I'm really looking forward to your feedback and thank you for taking the time to review this thread.

You'll experience a loss of 10-15 fps in both Fallout 4 and GTA V when choosing DDR4-2133 memory instead of DDR4-3000. If you're okay with that, it's fine. At certain locations you might see 75 fps, which is much lower than the 90 fps you could achieve otherwise. This difference is significant, and I wouldn't recommend going below 2800 for my next build.

For more details, check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qksXthUcbiQ

Regarding the CPU, the i7-5820k isn't compatible with Skylake architecture; it's a Haswell-E LGA 2011-v3 processor. I believe the i5-6600k performs well and doesn't require a more powerful model unless you're planning to run other demanding applications besides gaming, such as 3D rendering software.

And regarding your last question, I've never used an anti-static wrap.

psu is a tier 3 unit, and it's unclear what the power needs for pascal will be, but it's worth the extra for a higher quality power supply.

The situation isn't particularly suited for airflow and seems quite weak at the moment. I don't usually suggest it, though it's a common option. My advice would be to replace the Cryorig H5 with a more affordable model such as the M9i and upgrade the motherboard to something like the Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 3. A more advanced motherboard will offer better overall performance. Also consider using DDR4-2666 or higher, which can significantly improve open-world gameplay. For power, the EVGA B2 750w is a cost-effective alternative to the Cooler Master G650M, yet it performs much better.

Certainly, here is a rewritten version of your message:

So, thank you for your detailed response. However, I have a few more questions. Since I live in Denmark, the prices here seem a bit different. Your build appears both more costly and, in my opinion, better, and some components aren't available.

1. Can you suggest alternatives to this case at that price, or perhaps something cheaper? Also, are the Zalman Z11 plus HF1 or antec gx505 worth considering?
2. I can manage to get the motherboard for about $50 more, but the ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming is priced similarly. Would that be a better choice? Are there any options that might be slightly cheaper?
3. Are there any issues with the Kingston RAM if I opt for models with a rating of 2666 or higher?
4. The PSU is also nearly double the cost—do you think the cooler models are of poor quality? If I were to buy one in the 700-750W range, would that be a better deal?
5. My choice of graphics card was mainly because of its higher overclocking potential; both options are priced the same. Would you still recommend the Gigabyte model?
6. Would the CPU cooler I mentioned perform as well with overclocking?

Thank you again for your time and for all the feedback from others.

Which platform will you purchase from? You can probably tell by checking that site.
If the Asus Z170 Pro Gaming is priced equally, it’s worth choosing that option. It’s superior.
I believe Kingston RAM is solid, but most models above 2666 Mhz perform well.
The G650M isn’t the top choice globally. If you check the website you’re buying from, I might pick a better PSU such as a Seasonic S12/M12II 620w or similar available models.
For the GTX 950, brand isn’t crucial. I selected it mainly because it seemed to be from the US and it was the most affordable. Galax is decent, but Gigabyte also offers good options. You can overclock both for improved performance, that’s not a big issue. Go with the Galax.
The Cryorig H5 suits overclocking better, but at its price point the M9i performs well in the 4.3-4.4 Ghz range. The Cryorig H5 is superior but more costly.
It’s important to let us know your location if you’re not based in the US, since we assume it and base component choices on US PC Part Picker prices.

Thank you again.
I apologize for not letting you know my location in Denmark; it might have been easier.
1. I'm purchasing from proshop.dk. The site doesn't have an English version, but if you decide to check here, this translation should help you understand the categories (though you'll likely be a PC person).
PSU = strømforsyning
Case = kabinet
Today I bought most of the parts — including the asus mobo, H5 cooler, and corsair RAM you recommended. I was also considering the cooler master GM750W to ensure sufficient power if I plan to use SLI later. It has an 80 plus bronze rating, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. For the case, I'm looking at the corsair carbide 200R.
Currently, I have a SSD drive. Would there be any benefit in getting another one and running OS on one while using games on the other?

In certain games there may be an advantage, making it a worthwhile choice (in relation to another SSD).
If you need this power supply for 750 watts, click here:
https://www.proshop.dk/Stroemforsyning/T...1235?s=xfx
This option offers superior airflow, cable management, and matches the cost of Corsair 200R:
https://www.proshop.dk/Kabinet/Eclipse-P...s=phanteks
For a later release (21st of March), consider this alternative:

Do you have any insights about the OCZ trion 100 SSDs? They aren't as quick as many other brands, but do you think they'll suffice for either operating system or gaming HDD, based on which one requires the fastest performance? I'm considering checking out a case instead (enthusiastic!). Unless this presents another viable choice.

S340 is decent, but I could have gone with the Enthoo Pro M—it's more affordable too. I believe you receive better value with the Enthoo Pro M, though the S340 is still a solid choice.
For the PSU, I recommend the EVGA GQ 650w:
