I’d purchase a Windows key from eBay for around two dollars and acquire this PC part list item for $232.98. On Newegg I bought an ASRock B450 Steel Legend ATX motherboard for $109.99 and a G.Skill Ripjaws V memory pack with 16 GB DDR4-3200 for $63.99. For storage, I selected a Crucial P2 M.2 drive at $50.99 from Amazon and a Seagate Barracuda 2 TB drive for $54.99. The case came from Office Depot, a Phanteks Eclipse P300A mid-tower case for $49.99, and the power supply was EVGA BQ 600 W from Newegg at $74.98. All prices encompass shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts.
Does the Steel Legend come with the correct BIOS? I already have all the components listed. Right now I own an ASROCK B450M Pro4, but it doesn’t power on or function at all—no lights, no fans, not even briefly. After some checks, it seems the issue lies in the BIOS. Since I’m unfamiliar with BIOS settings, I’m considering replacing the motherboard instead. After this change, I’m a bit doubtful about ASROCK... Will the Steel Legend experience the same problem?
